Today is not the day

Today I refuse to depart 

My decision I impart 

You cannot take me away

As I wish to prolong my stay

I have struggled enough

Seeing you each day was rough

Though it made me so tough 

That I deny your presence 

So stop showing up everyday 

I am not giving up anyway!!
You take a step forward 

I move back

I refuse to hold your hand 

With positivity as my sword 

With hope I attack

And oppose your demand

With aggression I command 

Go back

Let’s meet some other day again!!
