She was struggling
She was agonizing
Her pain was no more pain
In words one can’t explain
It was swirling inside and out
Never-ending without a doubt
Making her numb and pale
She could barely inhale or exhale
And with every gasp she made
To protect her baby she prayed
who was yet to be born
But this was when a mother was born
who was writhing in agony
And yet cared more about her child
And suddenly the pain got mild
When she saw her for the first time
Her baby, her newborn
In a second she forgot
The anguish, the suffering
It was an unbelievable knot
As she began to slowly cling
To the essence of this moment
To her uncontrollably loving thought
And then a mother was born
When she wished to adorn
The beauty in her arms
With all her love and life
And to protect it from all harm
Forever in her life!!

The joy of motherhood is the pain they endured. Absolutely brilliant from you.

Just read it and I quite like it. I think if you worked more on it from a stylistic point of view it could become a great poem.
