Madhubani Painting is one of the oldest folk art from India, and everytime I make one, it gives me immense pride to show the richness of our art and culture which is deeply rooted since generations.

Madhubani Art is said to be one of the oldest folk art from India. It is believed to date back to the time when King Janak asked the ladies in his kingdom to paint and decorate the whole town, when Maa Sita was getting married to Lord Rama. Since then the tradition continues, and the ladies of Mithila paint their walls during auspicious occasions.
